OUR PROCESS:

With our complete home archiving solution we utilize our 4 step process below to ensure not only the preservation of your family legacy, but also to organize, restore and showcase it in a way that truly honors your family memories.

STEP 1: DIGITIZE

Upon our initial consultation, we take inventory of the various media formats you have and provide an estimate to digitize and scan all items. With the use of our professional equipment and years of experience, we’ll ensure that everything is transferred in the best possible quality. Just some of the formats we can capture are photos, slides, negatives, all consumer video formats, 8mm and 16mm film, 1/4” audio reels, audio cassettes, DVDs, and more.

STEP 2: ORGANIZE

The next step is the organization process. This is a very important step and can’t be skipped. We’ll create folders and sub folders to organize all your memories by date, events, holidays, and even create a “best of” folder. This way you’ll have many ways to search for the photo or video you’re looking for.

STEP 3: RESTORE

After the organization process is complete, we’ll go through every piece of media and manually restore each image that can benefit from restoration (ie repairing tares, removing stains, blemishes, restoring faded colors, etc). We’ll then take the media into professional software and enhance all media by making sure brightness and tone levels are correct and at best settings for modern TVs.

STEP 4: SHOWCASE

This is the final step, and usually our customer’s favorite. Other transfer companies usually stop at the digitizing process. But once you get everything back in folders, it can be overwhelming to sit and watch everything that you receive back. It’s absolutely necessary to digitize everything for longevity, but this step allows us to go through and take the best photos, slides, video and film clips and create a video montage of your life set to music. Typically the videos would be about an hour in length, depending on the amount of media we are working with. We guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
